This cute little owl and his friend the spider are just hanging out on the moon, waiting to be spooky and fun in your Halloween decor.

The free pattern is from Jacquie Morris at her My Journey blog and makes for a quick and easy stitch. You’ll also find a few other Halloween themed freebies on the same page [here].

Witches, Skulls, and Bats, Oh My!

DMC’s Commonthread shared four PDFs packed with Halloween goodness. Cute witches, fun pumpkins, spooky little bats and spiders, there’s even a cute little owl.

The skull set is really Day of the Dead and not Halloween, but I love a good sugar skull so I’ll take it 😉

You’ll find all four pattern set PDF files on the Commonthread site [here].

Owl and Fox Motifs

I found this little owl and his friend the fox over at Lucy Kate Crafts. They’re both less than 2 inches big, making them the right size for the popular wooden medallions that people are stitching on.

Get the pattern for the owl here and the pattern for the fox here.

Cute Owl Biscornu

There are a few other biscornu patterns on the same page with this pattern, but of course these cute little owls were my favorite of the bunch. The page is not in English, but Google translate tells me that the patterns were provided free of charge and the site is supported by advertising, not much other information I could find on the page itself other than some thank yous from readers.

Cute Woodland Owl

This cute little owl is just having some wintertime fun with his scarf and hat. The pattern size is not too big and not too small, so it could make a nice ornament or be stitched on a holiday accessory, even made into a fun card if you’d like.

Blue Owl Freebie from The Stitching Shed

I kept seeing this cute little owl pattern stitched up and pinned on Pinterest, but I couldn’t find the pattern.

After some searching and digging, I finally located him in all his cuteness – on Facebook!

He’s on The Stitching Shed’s Facebook page, of course.
