I Love You Alphabet Ornament

I found this cute little alphabet sampler ornament on Pinterest last year and I’ve stitched it up twice now. It’s a great design and a super quick stitch, so it makes for a perfect last minute gift.

I think the next one I do, I’ll add beads for the I <3 U part so it stands out even more. The pattern has both lower case and upper case alphabets, you can stitch just one or stitch both and have one on each side of the ornament. Pattern is available

Adorable Quaker 2010 Pattern from Gazette94

I was honestly surprised when I found out this adorable pattern is a freebie. So much cuteness and I love a good quaker pattern.

Check it out for yourself on the Gazette94 blog.

There are some different color examples shown, but you could grab pretty much any color from your stash and just start stitching.

Dear Jane Free Cross Stitch Sampler

The Dear Jane pattern, based on the popular quilt pattern, comes in five parts. Yes, I said five, that’s not a typo. Each of those five parts is broken into four smaller chart sections, for 20 parts total.

The full pattern stitch count is 695 x 695. Use the handy dandy fabric calculator to figure out what size fabric you’ll need, depending on how much space you’d like on each side and the count of the fabric you want to use.

It’s a labor of love to stitch, but the results are worth every second. Charted in the lovely reds as shown, but can certainly be stitched in any color palette you prefer. This pattern is so amazing, it looks even more beautiful every time I see it. I have a Pinterest board full of Dear Janes if you’d like a little color inspiration.
